Before you start
To help us verify your charity quickly, please have the following information ready.
Register your charity- Registered charity or nonprofit number
- Charity website and head office address
- Account email and telephone number
- Authorised signatory
- Bank details and proof of account for BACS only
Payments & monthly reports

Making a Difference Cards takes no commission. Payment processing charges may apply; supporters can choose to cover them at checkout.
Your monthly reports
Reports are generated on the first Monday of each month and are available in your dashboard.

Gift Aid schedules are supplied where applicable and must only be used for Gift Aid reclaim. Donor contact details appear separately only when the supporter has agreed to share them.

Use your own card designs
Submit JPG, PNG, GIF, TIF or PDF artwork from the dashboard. Up to six designs can be templated at one time. Keep the charity logo off the front artwork; your logo and charity description are added inside each card.
Offer alternative gifts
Add a gift supporters can choose in lieu of a present. We’ll need an image, website description, recipient message and the donation amount you would like to request.
Promote your unique URL
Download ready-to-use campaign images and videos personalised with your logo and charity URL, alongside suggested social copy.
Respect supporter choices
Purchaser details are shown for marketing only when the supporter opts in. Gift Aid data is provided separately for reclaim purposes.
Frequently asked questions
Does it cost anything to join?
No. There are no annual fees and Making a Difference Cards takes no commission. Payment processing charges may still apply.
Do we need Stripe?
No. UK charities can choose Stripe for direct transfers or BACS for a monthly payment from Making a Difference Cards.
When are BACS payments made?
The previous month’s donations are paid on the first Monday of each month.
Where can we find our reports?
Monthly reports are generated on the first Monday and made available from the Donations area of your dashboard. A Gift Aid ODS file is also provided where applicable.
Can we use our own card designs?
Yes. Upload JPG, PNG, GIF, TIF or PDF artwork through the dashboard. We can template up to six designs at a time and will email you when they are ready.
What promotional support is available?
Your dashboard includes ready-to-use promotional images and videos, personalised with your logo and unique URL, plus suggested social copy.
Can we add alternative gifts?
