Cornwall Air Ambulance flies more than 700 lifesaving missions each year throughout Cornwall and the isles of Scilly. Cornwall Air Ambulance is on scene on average in just 12 minutes in mainland Cornwall and less than 30 minutes on the isles of Scilly. It does not receive any government support for these missions and relies on the generosity of its supporters.

Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex is a life-saving service which operates 24/7 365 days a year. Each mission is attended by doctor – typically a specialist in anaesthesia or emergency medicine – and a paramedic who is trained in critical care and accustomed to challenging environments. They bring the care found in an A&E department to the scene, saving lives every day.

The North West Pre-hospital Critical Care Charity are a group of volunteers who have one common goal and that is to help those in need. Their volunteer responders are called by the ambulance service to attend serious accidents or incidents in which our extended skills or expertise are needed. They include time-served Doctors with a range of backgrounds including General Practice, Emergency Medicine, Anaesthesia and Surgery or Paramedics working as Critical Care Paramedics or Advanced Paramedics.

The Northumberland National Park Mountain Rescue Team are on call throughout Northumberland and Tyne & Wear 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, even on Christmas Day.

Team members provide a professional and voluntary life-saving service, delivering search and rescue cover for lost or injured walkers and cyclists; searching for missing high risk, vulnerable or despondent people in non-mountain areas; responding to severe weather events such as flooding, snow bound motorists and wild fires; and undertaking water and technical rescues.
