The North West Pre-hospital Critical Care Charity are a group of volunteers who have one common goal and that is to help those in need. Their volunteer responders are called by the ambulance service to attend serious accidents or incidents in which our extended skills or expertise are needed. Our Angel Bears purpose is to offer online emotional support to grieving families who have angels lost to miscarriage, preterm birth, Compassionate induction (also known as TFMR) stillbirth, neonatal deaths, SIDS, accident or illness. SeeSaw provides grief support for children, young people and their families in Oxfordshire. Through appropriate and timely support, SeeSaw can help to reduce the emotional, psychological and mental health consequences of bereavement. Young people are then able to face the future with hope.

Homelessness is sadly on the rise. The bond between a homeless person and their animal is profound. Their animal is their whole world, give them a reason to carry on, and is often the only source of unconditional love. Homeless people care deeply about the health and welfare of their pets, but can find it impossible to access veterinary care. Our teams of veterinary volunteers take to the streets to locate, support and treat animals though our Outreach sessions.

Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide exist to meet the needs and overcome the isolation experienced by people over 18 who have been bereaved by suicide. Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide help around 7000 people each year, but sadly there is still huge unmet demand.
We help hospitals to set up teams of volunteers, to give companionship and emotional support to patients in the final days of their life. The volunteers sit with patients, play their favourite song one last time, or simply hold their hand.
No one should have to face death alone.

Chaseley is an independent charity-owned care home located in a stunning location on Eastbourne’s seafront.
